Project Manager
We're Looking for a Project Manager Who Makes Complex Projects Feel Effortless
Missing Piece Studio is a founder-led web design and development agency specializing in SaaS and B2B service companies. We deliver high-impact websites through a transparent, structured process and we need a Project Manager to ensure every client experiences the seamless, professional journey that defines our work.

What You'll Do
As a Project Manager at Missing Piece Studio, you'll be the operational backbone ensuring every project runs smoothly from discovery to launch.
Your Responsibilities:
Client-Facing:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead kickoff calls, phase transitions, and weekly/bi-weekly update communications
- Manage client expectations with proactive, transparent communication (no surprises, no ghosting)
- Facilitate feedback sessions and ensure revision requests are clear and actionable
Internal Coordination:
- Manage cross-functional collaboration between designers, developers, and strategists
- Ensure team members have what they need to execute (briefs, assets, feedback, approvals)
- Track project timelines and milestones using our live project dashboard
- Identify potential bottlenecks early and problem-solve proactively
Quality Assurance:
- Review deliverables against our SOPs and quality standards before client presentation
- Ensure designs and development work align with the strategic brief and client objectives
- Map team outputs to process requirements to minimize client feedback loops
- Flag inconsistencies or gaps early to maintain our reputation for excellence
Process Optimization:
- Maintain and refine our 6-phase methodology based on what's working (and what isn't)
- Document learnings and update SOPs to improve future project execution
- Contribute to operational efficiency as we scale more projects quarterly
What We Need
- 1+ years of project management experience (agency environment strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects without dropping the ball
- Exceptional communication skills — you write clearly, speak confidently, and know how to navigate client conversations professionally
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail (nothing slips through the cracks)
- Comfortable using project management tools (Asana, Basecamp, Notion, or similar)
- Proactive problem-solver who addresses issues before they escalate
- Calm under pressure — you manage scope creep, tight timelines, and competing priorities with grace
Bonus Points:
- Experience managing web design and development projects specifically
- Understanding of SaaS or B2B service company ecosystems
